huaping replied to your post: “Hi, Audrey.” Ping waggled his fingers in greeting, smiling sheepishly. “What are you up to?”Ping’s eyes flared open as Audrey kissed him - he had never been kissed before, and he wasn’t sure this was how he would have wanted it to happen. “Uh,” he stammered, face flushing. Ping took a step back. “Um…”Audrey’s cheeks were still hot as she stood there. Familiar embarrassment swept her as she held up her hands, this was getting frustrating. “Like I said, it’s been happening all day, I’m sorry.” She sighed and pulled her hat down a bit lower. She knew it was awkward, but it was just a peck! Wasn’t like she forced her tongue down his throat.
“Like I said, sorry.” She mumbled.
Ping was still standing there, toes tilted inward, hands clenched loosely by his waist - right where they’d been when Audrey kissed him. He was also gaping at her like a fish, but that had a lot to do with the fact that he was speechless. Why would anybody kiss him? It occurred to Ping vaguely - as he was still in shock - that asking Audrey was probably the best way of finding out the answer to that question, but Ping did not want to risk asking until he was sure that he could actually put two words together in a way that made sense.
He had hoped that nobody would suspect he was really a woman, but this was too much! And he had only just met Audrey. Surely he was not handsome, by the standards men were judged by? It wasn’t something Ping wanted to think about. Her kiss was not something Ping wanted to dwell on at all.
Finally a thought floated to the surface of Ping’s roiling mind and he frowned at Audrey. "Why did you do that if you’re going to apologize about it? I mean - !“ he waved his hands wildly at her before she could answer. "Not that I, uh, wanted - but - what d'you mean, it’s been happening all day?”
