that post going around about how “mature” and “serious” roleplayers are the ones who write violent scenes of rape etc comes off as sickeningly arrogant to me? 

like sexual assault is not something you get to just “play around with” to “make your character more interesting” it’s a terrifying, invasive, scarring nightmare that stays with the victims until the day they die. we already live in a society that perpetuates rape-culture and victim-shaming anyway so what makes you think you should just add to it because “rape is there, humans are dark, it’s already there so why not use it” and if it’s something you want to explore with your character you have a responsibility to do it in a respectful way, not one that shames all other roleplayers who dont do i??? you tool?

i mean even then it’s one thing to use it and another to use it and then look down on other roleplayers who don’t like get your self-deluded ass off your high horse because you are not “”“”“”edgyyy”“” for using violent crime as cheap drama in your threads like go away swine
