She caught the man on the horse looking at her as she pulled her fingers from her tangled curls. Audrey raised an eyebrow in return, wondering what time period she was in, if curls were an oddity. She shrugged, adjusting her hat once more after putting it on. “I don’t know. I just figure the bigger the city, the easier it’d be for me to get where I’m supposed to be.” She didn’t know how to explain that she was supposed to be in a different country, probably a different time to pile on top of that.

Audrey shoved her hands into her pockets hoping to find something in them to help her. She pulled out a wrench, some bolts and nuts, and, well that was good at least, some Atlantean gold. She shoved it back into her pockets, peering up at him with a smirk. “I kind of…just ended up here.” Audrey realized she had no idea what the other’s name was. She’d given them her name, but never got his. “What’s your name, since you’re my hero for today, telling me where the hell I am and everything.” She said with a teasing lift.

From Khan’s back, Ping looked dubiously at Audrey.  He wasn’t sure how it was possible to find yourself somewhere without knowing where it was…or how to be lost and not know where you were headed…or why she was looking at him like that.  Her hero?  Ping couldn’t even make a fire without a tinder box (or his guardian dragon) - let alone save anybody else from danger.  If Audrey wanted a hero - well, Ping thought Captain Shang looked, and acted, the part.

But at the very least, he could answer her question.  "I’m Ping,“ he told her, "Hua Ping.  I guess you could say I kind of ended up here, too.  Because - ” he rushed to explain, before Audrey could ask awkward questions.  " - I’m training to fight in the Chinese Imperial Army…I’ve never done anything like this before.“
